Word from Drag City is that folk faerie Joanna Newsom delivers a new EP on 4/24. It’s got one new track, “Colleen,” and reworks of “Clam, Crab, Cockle, Cowrie” and “Cosmia.” (Three songs that begin with the letter C!) We’ll be first in line to download it, despite the fact that the EP is titled Joanna Newsom And The Ys Street Band.

Whereas Ys album cover was meant to be taken seriously, apparently, this EP title tells us she’s just fucking with our perception of her. She’s a fun loving gal! And she’s still sick of being photographed in the woods!

it of course helps that she’s very attractive. And before someone asks what it helps with, I would confirm it helps with life, the viewing of this blog, the reading of this story, the listening to her music, the mythologising of her character and other things that don’t spring to mind at present.

  10. It is the varied perspective of different individuals. I believe the voice is nice. Though she is very attractive, but attractiveness is nothing to do with the voice :)
