You and your niece are totally gonna bond over this one. Stereogum reader Scott writes:
I was watching TV this afternoon when a commercial for some new Crayola marker came on. It only shows up on special paper or whatever. Anyway, Animal Collective’s “Sweet Road” was soundtracking the biz. Good stuff, cute commercial, too. A little off center, whatever. I checked YouTube and couldn’t find a link, but maybe someone else has seen it.
The word on these Color Explosion markers is out, ’cause the folks at P4K have unearthed a link. So whip out your set of Sung Tongs crayons and join us as we mark the first time we’ve ever said: Watch it at Crayola.

its a cute Ad. nothin to get angry at. the song is not significant enough in the ad anyways…its pretty much background music..I hope they got good money though.
It’s about time Animal Collective has a song in a children’s commercial. Them, along with The Boy Least Likely To, were bands that I’ve always thought would eventually appear in a Playskool commercial or something similar.
Oh, my. That is so cool. My lid is flipped to try to understand Crayola pairing with Animal Collective. NICE. Could not be sweeter, methinks.
