Damage control? Or worst joke ever? Via AP:

“It was an off-the-cuff remark, a joke, and it is not true. File under April Fool’s joke,” said Bernard Doherty of LD Communications, which represents the Rolling Stones.

Added Richards’ longtime manager Jane Rose (via MTV):

Said in jest. Can’t believe anyone took [it] seriously.

Right, so gullible! Who would take Richards at his word about shoving shit up his nose? Easily his worst April Fool’s prank since faking his own death in ’64.

  1. Someone oughta file the Stones entire post-Exile output under April Fool’s joke, while we’re at it.

The snorting ashes thing was on an episode of Six Feet Under, season 2 episode one.

    Random trivia.

  3. So he was lying about Motorhead being the only rock band he listens to any more too?

umm, retro-blowfi? when you and the rest of the syncophants are done sucking at the tit of “exile on main street,” do us a flavor and go check out “black and blue,” “some girls,” and “emotional rescue” from your local library.

    then snort some keef.
