British Sea Power are prepping their new full-length for release early next year. This seven-track EP precedes it, but, as the label notes in their press release, only one track from it will make it to the LP. They bring their regular drum thunder and echo to “Zeus” (appropriate). I also really like how the vocals get smothered by the guitars and feedback during the chorus. It transforms a couple of other times too, from tight and angular to stormy and huge.
