James Blake - "The Limit To Your Love" Feist Cover

Man behind a masterful triptych of experimental and occasionally dazzling beat and vocal based EPs this year (most recently Klavierwerke), James Blake has issued some even stronger catnip blogbait with this cover of Feist’s “There’s A Limit To Your Love.” But as nip goes, it goes straight to the head — James’s take sits his voice front and center, backed with piano, eventually stepping it down a long hallway of spare beats and factory hallway whoosh. Streamlined and cerebral, affecting all the same.

  2. Amrit- I tihnk you meant “Covers” in the title.

  3. This is just unfairly good. It should be illegal for visionary producers to be able to sing.

  4. Note to SGum editors: This spammer has been lurking around everywhere. It’s very annoying.

  5. It’s such a great video and song. Much respect for this artist.
