Kanye West released his latest G.O.O.D. Friday track right on time (or, slightly late, since he Tweeted in from Japan early Saturday morning). The trio have used the Child Rebel Soldier name a couple times before, on 2007′s “Us Placers,” and on the remix to N.E.R.D.’s 2008 single, “Everyone Nose,” so this collaboration’s been in the works (or at least in mind) for a while. Lupe’s part kind of steals the show, with the broad, jazzy synth at the end coming in at second. Listen:

Lupe was amazing live in Royal Oak this February; seems like all his energy is being bottled up from tragically not being allowed to release his album. Fortunately for us, it translates into an intense live show and virtuoso-level appearances like the one here. Great tune
Why the hell is this site reporting on Kanye West? He’s so not like the artists they write about.
Same reason we write about Phil Collins. Because I like them.
i don’t know if commenting nine days late is a party foul or something, but Phil Collins, Tom Petty, and Weezer are pretty useless.
@human after all
he just got an album release date confirmed the other day. march 8th 2011
the fans set up a protest only a couple of weeks ago that was supposed to go down this friday outside his labels head quarters in NYC.it’s now been turned into a celebration.Lupe is attending, which he had stated before he got a release date.

I’m a self-proclaimed Kanye fanboy, so don’t judge. But this track is pretty legit. I love that Kanye made CRS have a comeback. “Us Placers” was great almost three years ago, and not “Don’t Stop” is almost as good. Prime.
“Faggot-ass niggers”? Really? In 2010?
Nice constructed samples. I want to hear more.
