Today Kanye West’s “Welcome To Heartbreak” associate and one of the BBC’s 2009 favorites, Cleveland rapper Kid Cudi, unveiled his own colorfully innovative video for A Kid Named Cudi‘s “Day ‘N’ Nite.” Not the Kid Cudi Vs Crookers remix. If you’ve seen the earlier take, you’ll note some overlaps like the convenience store and, well, Kid Cudi. The new version, which includes far fewer scantily clad women and dorky/silly faces from the man himself, is definitely a better look for KC. So Me, who did Justice’s “D.A.N.C.E.” t-shirts and “DVNO” and subsequently West’s “Good Life,” worked his magic.

Expect Kid Cudi’s official debut Man On The Moon: The Guardians sometime this summer via G.O.O.D/Fool’s Gold. West is co-producing.

  8. Great song and video. I thought I might not like it after hearing the Crookers mix first but the original is just as good. There’s a special place in my heart for animated music videos. Now I can’t help but imagine what sort of animals people at work could turn into.

  9. Pretty good stuff… Love the videos So Me has done, too… Can’t wait to hear KC’s album now… Although Kid Cudi is a lame name for sure.
