Not that the subsequent Beantown overreaction wasn’t amusing, adult swim, but as far as publicity campaigns go, we prefer the release of a free album of indie cuts to guerrilla Lite-Brite-planting tactics any day. The off-kilter cartoon network offers up a comp featuring the likes of TV On The Radio, Liars, Les Savy Fav, the Rapture, Fennesz, and Asobi Seksu, and it’ll only cost a few minutes of bandwith. Our two faves come from the America-baiting Canucks of BSS and Norwegian krautrock-pinups 120 Days, who leave the motorik behind for some wild-eyed post-punk.
Grab the entire album and watch the adult swim vid for TVOTR’s OK Calculator cut “Me-I” here.

Canada Vs. America was released on Broken Social Scene’s “EP To Be You and Me” just in case you didn’t know.
Pretty nice mix anyways.
Did you guys know that Americans totally love guns? So does George Bush, he’s a war criminal. No blood for oil! America is such a violent, fucked up place. What America really needs is to find to a large, powerful country to share an undefended border with so the Americans can have their national security guaranteed for free. Think of all the cool social programs they could have without having to spend anything on national defense. Think how much better America would be. It would be really cool, there would be hereditary monarchs on dollar bills and the subculture that developed rock music would still have existed, right? And curling. Lots more curling.
Conflict = Good Music

XD@above comment, although you forgot to mention our exemplary health-care.
Yeah, Canada Vs. America is a great song, although, if you look at the lyrics, they really have absolutly nothing to do with conflicts between the two countries.
Still rocks though.
