The reunited facemelters play their first shows in nearly five years at Hampton Coliseum this weekend and will offer the sets for free download for a limited time afterward. At the least it’ll give you an idea of whether you should stick around for their Bonnaroo shows, at the most you never know they could do a full set of Helping Phriendly Book jams. Set email alerts for the downloads at livephish.com.

“Dude.. wait, what?” – I guess this is the part where we are supposed to start bashing Phish right? Well, if your pretentious self feels the need, go for it. Aside from the fact that most of their albums suck and Trey can’t sing or really write decent lyrics of his own, seeing Phish live is an amazing experience at times. Perhaps no other band has taken the effort to make every single night they play different and unpredictable. Who else can span that many genres of music effortlessly?
