It was back in August ’09 that we first heard “Island, IS” from Volcano Choir, the work of Wisconsin’s Collections Of Colonies Of Bees and fellow statesman and longtime collaborator Justin Vernon. They made a video for that same song, but I was more curious what the band would look like in a live setting. No more wondering, Volcano Choir are in the midst of playing their first ever shows. Here they are last night in Tokyo:
