Saw the new Jim Jarmusch movie last night. Parts were slow, but some of the vignettes were so memorable I ultimately recommend you see it. RZA, GZA, and Bill Murray’s sketch was hilarious. Steve Coogan and Alfred Molina shared an engrossing scene that had a beginning, middle, and end, unlike many of the other bits which were just pointless. The White Stripes’ conversation about Nikola Tesla could have been interesting — I’m not sure ’cause I was distracted by Meg’s horrific teeth. No wonder she never opens her mouth. Tom Waits and Iggy Pop were cool. Actually, Eliza and Laura thought Iggy Pop was “cute.” Whatevs. Word In The Alleys has some Tom Waits MP3s today. Check ‘em out.

You big meanie, leave Meg alone. That said, can’t wait to see Bill & the Wu

  3. I loved the last vignette – Taylor Mead was so sweet and sad and hilarious. But The RZA’s speech impediment (“Bill Muwwey”) was to die for.
