Just because he’s a baptist doesn’t mean clay is not gay. There are, get this, gay baptists!! They’re probably closeted. And it’s not that Clay doesn’t have a women or actively seeks them (although that does register a little on gaydars), but he acts too feminine for most ppl’s liking. The way he walks and talks. And i know it’s not just because he’s from nc, b/c that’s where im from and his accent has a little somethin extra to it. But look, if he’s gay, that’s on him and that’s his life. Just keep in mind that he comes from nc, not an easy state to be gay in, so he’s probably not coming out, if he is, because: a)it could kill his carrer and b) his family will disown him.
I am so tired of everyone saying that Clay is gay! What happened to being allowed to be a nice guy who’s a mama’s boy and who doesn’t believe in sleeping around with every girl he meets?! Clay’s right, you’re either a man whore or you’re gay. There is no in between. He hasn’t found the right girl yet and now his level of fame is making that even harder. Clay is a very respectable young man who just happens to be a little feminine, which I find adorable. What do you expect? He’s a mama’a boy form North Carolina and he was raised mostly by women. Get off of Clay’s back. He’s not gay and one day I hope he finds the women he is loojing for and that he is happy. He deserves that and much more. Clay is gay, and there’s nothing wrong with that. I don’t “want” him to be gay, I’m not interested at all, he’s sorta creepy looking to me, but he’s a wonderful singer, and a sweet acting lad. But, if he’s not gay, then that boy is everything a good gay boy is and surprisingly not interested at all in men. I find that very hard to believe, I’d be proud of him if he’d come out, but JUST LIKE BARRY and others, they don’t want to risk it, they want privacy, and there’s nothing wrong with that.
