New tune from Dave on this soundtrack-news Wednesday, written for the forthcoming Sam Rockwell psycho thriller JOSHUA (the all caps makes it SCARIER!). IMDB has the plot…
The arrival of a newborn girl causes the gradual disintegration of the Cairn family; particularly for 9-year-old Joshua (Kogan), an eccentric boy whose proper upbringing and refined tastes both take a sinister turn.
Dave liks ‘em dark! Ever since House, he’s been so creeptastic. Here’s “Fly” in incomplete, JOSHUA trailer format.
Why is Vera Farmiga screaming so much?! This kid’s the next Haley Joel “I want to be a real boy” Osment. Y/y?

Looks absurd. Send the kid to boarding school in Alaska, problem solved.
movie already came out. wasn’t bad… odd tone. it was made by ATO pictures, which is dave matthews production company.
yeah…they tried to send him to boarding school…things went from crazy to super crazy then.
watch the movie.
Does anyone know where i can find this song?
I just watched Joshua. What an excellent movie!
And of course got very curious to see if there is a soundtrack since I found the music very moving. Well as many of you have found out – there is no soundtrack and the title song The Fly is not released on any album. I found a very crappy mp3 copy of it on the net and figured I could do a better job ripping the song out of the movie. So here it is. Enjoy:

Thanks, Pavel, for the superior rip. Shame about no soundtrack especially since the director and writer spend so much time on the DVD comments track praising the young genius who scored the movie. It’s a smart genre flick if you’re looking for one.
Great rip! Thanks Pavel.
