  1. I love reviling this over hyped soulless arrogant band. Their lack of imaginative concept behind their artwork is also indicative of whats inside it: nothing.

  2. i want to like this band, but they seriously need to step it up. this song is boring. check out bossy if you want to hear cassie’s best work:

I understand that this is Stereogum and majority of the people that look at this site are very pretentious but your comment seriously put the icing on the cake. Its music. GET OVER YOURSELF. “hyped soulless arrogant band” really? stfu.

  4. I didn’t know that being likable made your music more enjoyable to listen to. but then again, I never plan on seeing Vivian Girls play live, or on ever talking to them, so what do I care if they suck live or if they’re jerks? DERP, I DON’T!

  5. eh, it’s just that they are a sham band and it’s frustrating for me to see these barely competent prima donnas get so much exposure when I have friends in NYC and L.A. busting their virtuostic chops to get peanuts.

    • I’m not an extreme Vivian Girls fan myself, but I do appreciate that they put effort into their music and they’re passionate about it.

Maybe you and you’re friends should realize that it’s not about how FAST or how TACTFUL you are whilst playing your instrument. It’s about having an emotional connection with the music.
