With the influx of indie rock kids comps and Bops, it was only a matter of time before little ones started changing road trip sing-a-longs to hepper fare … but Pavement’s “Stereo” en route to karate class? Wowee Zowee!

“What about the voice of Geddy Lee? How did it get so hi..and you’re my fact checkin’ cuz’.”
Freakin’ love that line.
Who can blame the kids for getting the words wrong? I’ve been listening to this for 10 years and still don’t get them right.
I think the kids might enjoy singing something else more. Get those kids a Beatles album!
Is it just me or are some of Pavement’s songs just the absolute best to sing along to?
I sure miss the Pavement guys…
Pavement R.I.P.
Hopefully, someday, if/when I have kids, they will be as cool as these two. Fucking adorable!
My baby, baby, b…… …gave me MALARIA, stereo!
Fuck yeah… This is the coolest shit I have ever seen on YouTube.
pavement, expanding vernacular for you and your kids for almost a quarter century
that’s rad
Brighten the Corners is the best singalong pavement album. Shady Lane, Stereo, Blue Hawaiian… Tho crooked rain has some good car singers.
This is so great. I want these kids. Seriously. They could be my body guards and serenade me with awesome music.
Kids…I like Pavement, therefore YOU will like Pavement. Then, finally I will be cool to the cool kids at Stereogum.
Pfffft. Learn to say ”infrastructure” morons.
Whenever that old staple comes up – ‘Which band would you like to get back together so you can see them before you (or they) die’, I always say Pavement (and Faith No More). I didn’t get it at the time, but there is hardly a bad song amongst their entire oeuvre. If only more kids would listen to them and less to American Idol or whatever….
very cute, but i like this vid of a toddler dancing to hold steady better(keep watching till the squeal):

These two have black belts in rockin’ out.
They do a mean Jarvis Cocker sing along too…
