Manson/Twiggy reunion The High End Of Low will include “I Want To Kill You Like They Do In The Movies,” “Pretty As A Swastika,” and first single “Arma-goddamn-motherfuckin-geddon,” retitled “Arma… geddon” for radio. Its cover is not offensive, but will raise eyebrows for being lame. The rocker tells Kerrang!, “This album is the 12th-grade guy that has VD and did cocaine in high school, who has been arrested once and the 9th-grade girl wants to fuck him.” More at Blabbermouth.

thanks for the link. hadn’t seen that before.
Ha, I love the onion.
“Pretty As A Swastika”?
Trying a little too hard…
wow, the desperation is so strong…
Too bad they cut, “I want to kill you like Hitler’s mustache is pretty in violent videogame, motherfuck…also: gay marriage.”
This is so sad.
what’s the age demographic for this blog? Who is Marilyn Manson?
Well judging from your signature, the demo is younger than you.
Mary is a Buddhist so to him swastikas are beautiful.
Shocking right?
Mary is a Buddhist so … swastikas are beautiful.
Shocking right?
i don’t get this shit.
other great Manson songs:
“I Routinely Engage in Deviant Behavior”
“Profanity Is Unpleasant To Your Fragile Sensibility”
“Perhaps You Might Find a Holocaust Reference Shocking?”
Don’t forget about “I Look Like a Jewish Grandmother”
Remember this when we were in middle school? HA, good times.
What a hilariously convoluted metaphoric conceit: “This album is going to be fucked by a 9th grade girl who is surprisingly uninhibited about her sexuality because the album, itself, is the 12th grade senior who contracted genital warts from hotel linens that were improperly sanitized and he’s also been arrested once (just once) most likely for doing cocaine in high school because he’s known for doing cocaine — but his single legal offense is unclear because his file is sealed under some statute designed to protect the identity of delinquent minors. Oh, and did I mention that there is a 9th grader who has transferred from another school district and she finds this all very appealing? Anyhow, that’s how best to describe this album.”
Also: if the album is the 12th grader, who is the 9th grader?
the album cover makes me think “up next on SNL”
what a douche . . . this album is actual the guy that used to be a cool until the other kids in high school found out that he was kind of corny, so the guy does something ‘shocking’ to once again some brief attention . . . only to find out that the other kids have permanently moved on
the ‘shock factor’ tactic sells records… stlll? never thought of manson as an anti-semetic or a homophobic, apprently i don’t pay close enough attention to the lyrics?
in his defense– i saw him in 2001 and it was pretty badass. he was on stilts for a while. i was an angsty teen.
