There’s no production timetable, but for the eventual Feed The Animals followup, Gregg Gillis says he may “evolve” beyond party trick cut-ups to “individual songs” that include “actual repetition as opposed to linear structure” and use “some elements with a verse-and-chorus sort of structure.” Read more about Gillis’ transformation into Moby at Billboard.

No longer an overhyped top 40 dj from yesteryear. I hope his passion for music translates well into creating something original. I’d prefer an Avalanches/Dj Shadow Entroducing Gillis over a Moby Gillis.

    • Hey did you guys know there is a concert in Anaheim tomorrow with GT…entry to get in is 36 empty cans of Squirt! If you bring more than 36 cans you get VIP admission and if you bring an insane amt you may even be able to get VIP access for a meet and greet!

Good news is if you dont get in once the venue is full you get put on the VIP admission list for the July 24th concert at Fox Theatre!!!!!

  2. I’m not sure how I feel about this. He does what he does so wonderfully, surely doing more straightforward whole-song mashups would reduce him to Just A Very Good Mash Up DJ?

  3. sound like a make or break decision for him.

ahhhhhhh i hate girl talk sooooo much. the dude that manages him is a big DICK!

  5. One of my favorite parts of Night Ripper was the fat synthy outro I believe he did… unless it’s a sample and I’m dumb. No judgment until I hear it, anxious to do so

  6. So he does what The Avalanches did like 10 years ago?

  7. I’m pretty psyched to hear what comes next. I liked the noise/glitchy/booty stuff he did before he was big and would prefer more of a return to Unstoppable era.

man, he was producing “non mash up” stuff for YEARS before this stuff. his “actual songs” are still quite amazing. check out his production on grand buffet’s “cool as hell” from their cigarette beach ep to see what i mean.

  9. Hey guys!

Did you hear that GT will be in Anaheim tomorrow at The Grove? Entrance to get in is 36 empty squirt cans. If you bring more cans than that it means VIP admission!

And if you bring an insane amt of cans this could mean VIP access with a Meet and Greet!

    Spread the word!
