Thurston Moore’s newest solo album, the Beck Hansen-produced Demolished Thoughts, is out in May via Matador. It was recorded in Los Angeles and Northampton, MA. The title comes from The Faith’s “It’s Time.” (It’s also probably still the name of Moore’s hardcore band with J Mascis, Don Fleming, Andrew W.K., Awesome Allison, etc.) For a sense of what the collection sounds like, here’s the pretty, 6-minute folk love song “Benediction.”
