The Flaming Lips continue their bid to become Kings Of The Soundtrack with their third contribution to a major motion picture in the last year; first it was Spidey 3, then the Dane Cook/Jessica Alba flick Good Luck Chuck, and now it’s Ben Stiller’s The Heartbreak Kid. The Sesame Street ready track’s clippity-cloppity shuffle’s a sunny and sweet one, perfect for a rom-com and hand-held walks on happy days, but mostly we’re psyched to see the Lips leaving Dane Cook for Ben Stiller. Which is, at least, a step in the right direction.
