Foo Fighters visited SNL this weekend, and Dave Grohl appeared in two sketches. One was the SNL Digital Short where Grohl lived inside Mirren’s magical rack, and another had Grohl taking over Jason Sudeikis’s job as a strip club DJ. They also did “Rope” and “Walk” on the show. What? I know the Foo Fighters are merely radio rock, but with so few legitimately decent rock options in the mainstream, Foo Fighters are hardly the band to be casting aspersions on. Their performance of “Rope” was pretty great, btw.

if i had to pick a favorite track off wasting light i’d probably say Arlandria. it’s hard to pick a favorite though because the whole album is INCREDIBLE. and they have a bunch of exclusive releases coming out for record store day tomorrow! i can’t wait. http://www.recordstoreday.com
