There’s much bloodshed, decapitating, stabbing, death-by-arrows, and lost limbs in the animated video for Los Angeles spaz-pop band the Mae Shi’s longstanding HLLLYH staple “The Lamb And The Lion,” but the most dramatic passage to death occurs with the slow drift of one dude’s face down a spear. (Sounds dirty, but it’s not.) The clip was directed by Natalia Stuyk. The battle fought by an army riding elephants and an army riding lions. I won’t give away who wins, but the changing of the guard brings fertility back to the land, so it can’t be all that bad.
