If you’ve been paying attention, you know how we feel about Eye Contact, the new record from NYC mainstays Gang Gang Dance, and one of the year’s best. It’s another excellent collection in a pretty spotless catalog, but seems like it’s the one that’ll deliver the band to a larger audience. Take a listen:

album of the year, probably.
everything on it is just so SOLID! the only exception might be “Romance Layers”, but its still pretty good, and serves as a much needed breather. every other song is basically perfect though. way to go Gang (Gang)!
