At this point we’ve seen the Feist-y iPod Nano commercial enough times that even a parody of it tests our patience. That, and this Mad TV parody’s kinda dumb (like Mad TV). Caveats aside, it does give us a taste of the inevitable ‘Weird’ Al parody. Speaking of which, what would his “1, 2, 3, 4″ be? Bet he’ll look great in high-waisted blue sequins.
Nice scaled-back supporting cast … “1, 2, 3, 4″ for people without that many friends? And a Zune dig at the end. Too bad SNL didn’t do something like this when Feist was the musical guest a couple weekends ago. Speaking of: that great Fred Armisen iPhone commercial parody (“The Affair”) is still absent from YouTube. But this unaired one with Jason Sudeikis has popped up.
Just in time, too. This writer’s strike has us desperate for decent timewasters. Even watched Quarterlife; you’ll love (to hate) that shit.

MADtv used to be great. Up until maybe the 6th season, then everyone good left.
They need to stop showing MadTv for like 10 hours a day on Comedy Central.
I agree with Juano-they can just replace showing Mad TV with Scrubs, so Scrubs can be on all 24 hours a day

Before the “dude SNL totally sux now” crew comes in; I thought that iPhone sketch really funny. I didn’t actually laugh out loud, but I was definitely glad I watched it.

Hey! That SNL clip was filmed on my intersection at 84th and Amsterdam! I noticed the set-up one day a couple weeks ago. They actually suspended parking down the street from 5 am to 11 pm. How long could it have possibly taken to do a minute-long bit?!?
