This one has got to go on Bill’s greatest hits… it’s right up there with Lucy In the Sky With Diamonds… well, maybe not. Still, we’re all glad for a brief return to that art of his– whatever it is.
William Shatner gets major props on this. I listened to it a few times, then made other people listen to it! Shatner rocks!

It’s brilliant. Shatners exaggerated and stilted delivery makes Jackson’s belting sound all the more emotive. It’s a great track.

Shatners pretty safe, bit miffed at an american and an emo givin common people the once over tho, nice idea, sounds pretty cool but joe jackson’s never smoked a fag or wasted his dole money in a pub. You have to to get the song right- too american to properly get it, in my opinion

When I heard this I have to do a double take, or a double listen, because it is quite frankly the best some and moving song I hear in a while. I really mean it. I am 21 yrs old, and I am black, ok. I didn’t know that I would actually like this type of music but when I heard it you instantly won me over. I need to get this cd.
