Male Bonding 2011

Despite some studio upgrades, London “post-pop-punk” trio Male Bonding’s sloppy hooks are intact on their 11-song, 36-minute sophomore album Endless Now. The collection was recorded at the B-52′s-approved Dreamland Studio in Woodstock with producer John Angello (Kurt Vile, Thurston Moore, Dinosaur Jr.) and mixed at Headgear in Brooklyn. They added piano, cello, Mellotron, the guest vocals of Frankie Rose, and more guitar overdubs than on Nothing Hurts. Take a listen to the relatively epic lead track “Bones.”

Endless Now is out 8/30 via Sub Pop.
