you know what good for her !!! at least she is using her fame for a good cause to get people to vote this year!!! i can’t say any other young kids in hollywood are doing the same..
what diffrence does it make BUSH still would have won b/c he’s a jerk and a liar.. also no one payed attention to politics 4 yrs ago b/c everyone was on cloud 9. as a result of that we all got punished with BUSH in office. that’s why certain artists are paying more attention and using thier fame to get the attention of our crazy youth!!! so give her the benefit of the doubt coralie!!!!
Um Carolina, 4 years ago Bush almost lost. It was the closest election in history. I don’t think any amount of “lying” by anyone would have changed the fact that the country split almost evenly.
The results weren’t “almost split down the middle”. Christ. It’s all horseshit and if you don’t know what *really* happened then maybe you shouldn’t vote. Because you’d probably get confused anyway.
hey does anyone have a picture of madonna wearing a t shirt that says “THE ONLY BUSH I TRUST IS MY OWN” i heard she been wearing it around miami this week and i think that”s great b/c the slogin is used by lesbians against bush they been using at every protest.. and BETH maybe you should go back and pay attention to what really happend and. as i recall there was like 150,045 votes that were un acountable for americas youth between the ages of 18-30.. that’s why alot of people like christina aguilera are using thier fame for something productive…
on a non-political note, did anyone else see Strangeland? It was definitely awful. If I remember right Dee Snider is the villain, and at some point a Linch Mob lead by the Guy that plays Freddie Kruger catches him and there’s some more poorly written scenes that echo “A Clockwork Orange”. I love a goofy Horror Film, but Damn was it ever BAD.
i think it’s a great ad, very innovative, then again i like christina in anything.
and how does someone know whether she’s voted or not?
whatever?
everyone remember to vote.
Celebrities have long been using their assets to help encourage people to be aware of a variety of issues. I think this can be beneficial and help people who are unlikely to become socially involved in the changing of societal priorities. I do hope, however, that people remember to look up what the various candidates represent and what their stances are on political issues, instead of just doing it because of Chistina’s poster or Madonna’s/P Diddy’s shirt. If that is the only basis of their deciscion, than we are unworthy of having the ability to make important decisions.
Leslie,
I think he’s like so many political offenders, saying what we hear when we want to hear it. Sound bytes and catchy phrases withot substance about how he wishes to institute his big plans. I’m a Bush chic, although I don’t agree with his stances on abortion, stem-cell research and same-sex marriage. I also don’t like his affiliations with the high church and his cuddly relationship with the Pope. Those issues , however, seem unimportant compared to national security and terrorism. Yes, many mistakes have been made and anyone standing in Bush’s shoes would have been eviscerated for it. But I trust him because even when his opinions are unpopular he still stays steady and in times of instability, consistency is essential. I do not trust a man who fought in a war when it was the thing to do, rallied against it afterwards, pretendd to throw away his medals for war honors when he didn’t and voted for the war action for Afghanistan and Iraq and then said it wasn’t the right thing to do.
Hey! I come here to escape reality! (smacks forehead) Sorry about that.
smh dont vote bush, he is boo boo ca ca. Bush wants to kill us all, and bush’s father did business with osma why you think we haven’t caught him yet. Bush just sort of pushed him to the side, like he didnt blow up are twin towers. I mean if you vote bush you have to be really retarded. VOTE KERRY…and i cant even vote, so somebody do me a favor
And that movie was pretty bad, too.
That movie was terrible but i like the billboard- it is visceral and makes a provacative statement, so what is there not to like.
I can see why they chose to clean her up, though — how provoking would it be if they had silenced “drrrrty XTina?”
Eek!
you know what good for her !!! at least she is using her fame for a good cause to get people to vote this year!!! i can’t say any other young kids in hollywood are doing the same..
Let’s not forget that she has never voted.

This kangaroo court can lick my bawls!
There are more here and 3 TV ads that we did with David LaChapelle.
thanks for picking them up…
O.
Didn’t P.Diddy wear a shirt that said “Vote or Die” on it? American Politics are like soap operas for me, a proud Canadian anyways.

well I bet you that she will vote this year… got to start somewhere…
Isn’t there a point in time when “has beens” should keep their name off of the marque? Dee Snider…case and point.
