On Saturday night Amy Winehouse showed up an hour late to her scheduled performance in Belgrade only to drunkenly stumble through the entire set for a booing Tuborg festival audience. The tour kickoff was the worst concert in the history of the Serbian capital according to the local daily newspaper. The show opened with Amy struggling with “Just Friends” and got worse during “Back To Black,” which the crowd basically had to sing for her. Watch some trainwreck clips below.

I stumbled on this video looking for something else. I was alarmed and extremely concerned about this young woman who has so much. The band is the best. Her voice is wonderful. But her choices to inebriate herself in this incapacitating way is a disgrace. She needs help. Clearly she has too much–neither discipline nor discernment.
The audience was probably shocked by her so-called performance. I can’t imagine paying for a concert like this. It was clear on the video that her songs had been pre-taped and played for this set.
I know that prayer may not be popular with people this young, but please, for this young woman’s sake and for your own, begin praying to God for help.
