Last month we highlighted Bleached, the duo of Jessica and Jennifer Clavin. The sisters’ former Mika Miko bandmate-turned-director Kate Hall has a newish musical project as well called Dunes. The low-key lo-fi LA trio, which also features Stephanie Chan and Mark Greshowak, follows up last year’s self-titled EP (Mexican Summer) and “Old Souls” 7″ (Art Fag) with the woozy post-punk single “Tied Together,” a tune that will appeal to fans of Puro Instinct. The 7″ is out today on Teenage Teardrops in a limited edition of 300 (a third of ‘em on green vinyl). B-side is a cover of Q Lazzarus’ “Goodbye Horses.”
