“Rifle Sight (Proper Name)” is the 8-minute opener from Cymbals Eat Guitars’ John Agnello-produced sophomore collection Lenses Alien, which the press release notes includes vocals from 3/4 of the band. What they don’t tell you is that “Rifle Sight” is a noisy Polvo-meets-shoegaze pop implosion.
Lenses Alien is out 8/22 in Europe via Memphis Industries and 8/30 in the States via Barsuk.
