Patty Hearst’s been in other John Waters movies. Cecil B. Demented was garbage, I hope this is better. That Selma Blair picture bodes well (if you are a monster of sleaze, as I am).
i keep seeing the trailer for this every saturday at the midnight movie series i go to, and the somewhat implied visual of tracy ullman doing the hokey pokey and straddling a bottle up the butt is just too amazing haha.
Maybe this is just a reverse psychology ploy for Selma Blair. As far as I can see, she’s absolutely flat in real life. Looks like it has high comedy potential with a ranchy edge though. I would rent it.
is “patricia hearst” PATTY HEARST? did she get kidnapped for this film? it looks like a stinker.
YAY MARYLAND!

They ruined Selma Blair! I don’t care how flat she is she rawks.
5 of Ms. Hearst’s 7 film credits are Waters’ movies.
(Incidentally, she was kidnapped from the apartment next door to one of my old domiciles.)
You’ve got to be kidding me! I can see putting on a few extra pounds, but jeez! a few extra boobs!
what is she making “B” movies now!! Ugh!!!
Uh, yes, John Waters movies are “B” movies. Christ.

Tamara, What are garbage pail kids?
I saw that picture and I was like, “Oh my god, is that ME??” But it wasn’t, it was Selma Blair. It was hilarious.

Thanks Tamara, I grew up in many countries and missed that bit of Americana.
Oh my god, I love it! After seeing Hairspray on Broadway, I have a renewed intrested in John Waters. Pink Flamingos made me sick, oh the eggs…
