Beyoncé With The Roots On Fallon

Big tune, rendered faithfully by the Roots crew and Beyoncé herself on Fallon last night. The only person having more fun than the aforementioned during this performance was the girl on piano, who’s dancing so enthusiastically it’s practically uncomfortable to watch, or at the very least, bad piano playing technique. B also did an interview to talk about her fellow, former Destiny’s Children, Solange’s DJ sets, and Fela Kuti — watch both clips here:

  1. Haha, you got me stoked. i WISH she had done 1+1 — the only good song on that album.

  2. Yeah, the title of the article on the main page is screwed up. But, as for the only good song, I would have to disagree. Better yet are the bonus tracks on the disc. Check out “Lay Up Under Me” and “Schoolin’ Life.” These songs are throwbacks to great 80s pop reminiscing a young Whitney Houston. Let’s just hope that Beyonce doesn’t get hooked on the crack…

  3. Haa, yeah. Wishful titling.

  4. why does america forget when it comes to beyonce. stereogum, fallon, anyone who has every supported this fake beeatch. she took money from a cold blooded murderer……muammar gaddafi. she took millions from him and admitted it!!!!!!!!! so what she gave the money to charity, how can she or her people not do the homework on who she is doing business with?????? this is evil, and whomever supports her is evil.

  5. That wasn’t practically uncomfortable to watch. It was straight up uncomfortable.

  6. Love Beyonce, but she sure isn’t a lyrical genius. Sounds like a HS girl wrote this song. Maybe that’s the targeted audience?
