‘Passing Feeling’ is pretty rough too, lyrically speaking. But yeah, FF is an intense song to listen to on repeat.

I’ve only heard the live versions that came from a show he played at Northsix Brooklyn some time in June 2003. The mix isn’t so hot (it’s really quiet), but the quality overall is good.
Speaking of live Elliott Smith, here’s a show from July 4th, 2000. Elliott and his Figure 8 band, probably the best sound quality and performance I’ve heard. They do “Strung Out Again,” which is on the new album as well.
