After hints and clues, Bonnaroo’s 2008 lineup’s been announced. They’ve confirmed Lez Zeppelin, but not Led Zeppelin. Though Robert Plant will show up to shuffle along with Alison Krauss. In their seventh year, Bonnaroo’s also bringing the aging thrash of Metallica (along with the younger crush of Mastodon) and the AT&T loving EdVed and his Pearl Jam to the Manchester, TN farm. Jack Johnson’s playing this one, too. Break out the greens. Which you’ll need to save for Willie “Twin Towers Imploded” Nelson. There are also some big ’07 critical and fan faves like M.I.A., Against Me!, and Kanye and ’08 upstarts Vampire Weekend. Jack sounds good and Led Zepplin would be killer! They should bust out G-Love to join up with Jack. And damn! would’t it be tight to see Rage Against The Machine walk out on stage… I heard Nirvana is gonna be there opening up for Jimmy Hendrix!
