The thing that made no sense to me about this is the fact that didn’t his album absolutely completely bomb and isn’t this suppose to be where the best musicians are showcased. That is the problem with the grammys now, it’s not the best, it’s just whatever the record companies want to shove down our throats. It used to be decent because it actually celebrated good music. I’m getting sick of this core of Alicia Keys, Beyonce, Foo Fighters, and so on every single year. There are so many good bands out there (the shins, system of a down, new pornographers), as well as other great rappers. Why does it need to be the same mediocre people every year.
