Last week, we posted video of Arcade Fire’s Win Butler playing (pretty impressively, from the look of things) in a Toronto charity basketball tournament, sharing the court with a few actual pros. UPDATE: Turns out the game was in Montreal, organized by the Pop Montreal festival as part of Pop Montreal’s 10th anniversary. Win’s old nemesis Matt Bonner was still in the mix, though.
Win’s bandmate and brother Will also played, and photographer Susan Moss of Montreal Buzz was there to document it. Check out her photos above.

Actually, these photos were from the charity game that took place in Montreal, part of Pop Montreal.
I was playing pick-up in the LES in NYC and Win showed up for some ball randomly. Coming from a guy who played D1 basketball, I can tell you that Win can play. Can hit from deep, and has a quick first step – rangy – I’m thinking a poor man’s Mike Dunleavy. Don’t let that hipster hair fool you.
