As usual the south gets screwed…guess I’ll have to wait another 8 years or so.
Mike
No, everyone gets screwed. I tried to get presale tickets through American Express (my aunt has one of them), but even getting on the phone at 10:01 am, the guy said the tickets for the Chicago show were sold out a half hour before. Sold out pre-presale? Whu?!? Is it worth the hassle? I saw him in his mid-90s rockabilly heyday. Maybe that shoudl be enough.
Yeah, I’m bitter.
suck it. got tix for the SF show.
NEENER!
he’s doing boston.

Caveat emptor.
I live in Pittsburgh (at least for the next week, and then I flee to sunny Tucson (yay!)), and there have been 2(!) shows scheduled in the last 4 years or so, and he’s cancelled both on the day of the show. Last time he “had a headache”, and I don’t even remember what it was the time before.
I did however see him in NYC years ago, with Gallon Drunk opening (awful). He sang for all of 45 minutes and then dissapeared. Very dissapointing.
Sure I got tickets for the Devore show in the pre-sale, but seeing him for his own show is always going to be better. We get the shaft on this tour leg.
holy moly, he’s going to be in asbury park!
I totally have to go back home (El Paso, TX) and see him there; there’s gonna be a ton of Mexican Morrisey fans there and they are teh awesome.
Got my DC tix!
I was at the show in Boston the night after he cancelled that last Pittsburgh show. Moz was talking all sorts of shit about Pittsburgh. V. strange.
The Paramount is a great place to see him for any of you Garden State folk.
Check out the big KROQ show in Socal Sept 18
Morrissey, Franz Ferdinand, the Killers, Tears for Fears, Billy Idol, Devo, X, Ian Brown from the Stone Roses, Muse, A Flock of Seagulls, Death Cab for Cutie, Missing Persons, Siouxsie, the Walkmen http://www.kroq.com
San Diego gets Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Def Cab, Muse & Secret Machines the next day but my band’s playing a show. It’s a benefit to make an aircraft carrier into a museum. HUH!? http://www.fm949sd.com
will there be a presale for the tower theater shows in philly??
Saw him in asbury park last night…awesome show. lots of smiths. though he couldn’t finish last song ‘light never goes out’ as he was mobbed by fans who got through security.
