Band To Watch alums Givers are no stranger to the TV circuit and last night they showed up on Jimmy Kimmel Live to play “Up Up Up.” While only “Up Up Up” made the broadcast, the band hung around to play “Meantime” as well.

People know them only because the Dirty Projectors gave them a break, which is a promising start for a band, but somehow they have sadly become the new Freelance Whales
How long can a band ride one song? and a cheesy, predictable, boring one at that. I’d complain that the Hulu videos you guys post don’t work for Canadians, but you’re doing us a favor on this one.
this band is severely lame.
i saw this performance not knowing a thing about them, if i had known they were a stereogum band to watch i prob would’ve ignored them completely. anyhow, i thought the song had a catchy beat. the lyrics suxed hardcore and the lead male vocal made me think that talent and inspiration in music had disappeared but to their credit the girl has a nice and desirable voice.
tl;dr ditch the guy vocals write lyrics that mean something and have cute chick sing them and don’t loop the same god damn riff for 5 min.
Wow…. Y’all must have gallbladders the size of watermelons to have that much bile on tap at a moments notice.
