Los Angeles ABBA enthusiasts Music Go Music recently signed to Secretly Canadian for their debut full-length. The collection will feature previous blogger-celebrated primer tracks “Light Of Love” and “Reach Out” alongside seven more, including the appealing, late-night disco diva turn of “Warm In The Shadows.” For their first ever video, MGM — who are intentionally somewhat conceptual/mysterious about their backstory — present this footage from a televised performance of “Warm” culled from their appearance on Face Time, a talk show from the ’70s. That never actually existed. See? Mysterious concept. But points for being committed.
Take it:
Expressions is out 10/6 via Secretly Canadian. A couple of Cali gigs lined up so far:
09/18 Los Angeles, CA @ The Roxy w/ Little Boots
09/19 San Francisco, CA @ The Independent w/ Little Boots

Isn’t their backstory just that they are also the band Bodies of Water?
Aaron from Lilys/Beachwood Sparks is on the drums…to San Fran Disco for my taste .. blah
I didn’t really enjoy their previous “blogger-celebrated” tracks that much, but this disco inspired one is absolutely fantastic. Gee, I have such a soft spot for disco ^-^.
Such a great year for music videos already buy… Wow video of the year? Maybe it’s just cause I’m in love with the song/her but that was just fantastic.
It’s pretty awesome that they re-recorded for the video. I like it when bands do that.
Glad to see them here.
