At a Portland show a few nights ago, Bon Iver busted out an impressionistic six-minute cover of Bob Dylan’s protest-era classic “With God On Our Side.” Give it a listen at TwentyFourBit. It seems pretty likely that Justin Vernon just wanted to cover this one because it meant he got to sing, “The country I come from is called the Midwest,” right?
