Hear Three Tracks From Peter Gabriel's 'New Blood'

Peter Gabriel toured with an 46-piece orchestra last summer, and he was so stoked on the live permutations of the songs that he piled the orchestra into the studio with him to rerecord a number of his hits with new arrangements. To prep you for the release of New Blood, we’ve got the premiere of three songs from the record: “Don’t Give Up”, “Digging in the Dirt,” and “Darkness.” (“Don’t Give Up” that features Ane Brun doing Kate Bush’s part.) It’s great to hear Gabriel pop back in again in a contemporary landscape as his music has generated renewed appreciation.

  1. A.K.A. nine years since his last real album.

  2. What is the photograph on the cover? Looks interesting.

  3. Enjoyed the tracks. The orchestra does add another dimension, and Gabriel still has a great voice more than 30 years after Genesis.
