  7. Animals.

Sure, Piper is the original, Dark Side the quintessence and The Wall the masterpiece, but Animals feels like it exists on its own plane, with very little reference to anything familiar.

  26. Wish You Were Here. The album literally changed my life for the better. The first time I put it on and heard Shine On You Crazy Diamond, I realized the potential that music had.

  27. Meddle, without a doubt.

  28. The Wall, but I’ve come to only listen to the “Is There Anybody Out There” recordings. Much better I think.

  29. Wish You Were Here definitely !

  30. Ummagumma. Hands down

  31. The Dark Side of the Moon, without any shadow of a doubt.

  32. As a pioneering British psych album putting tracks like “Take Up Thy Stethescope…,” “Bike,” and “Interstellar Overdrive” on the same disc, Piper At The Gates Of Dawn gets my vote!

  33. A N I M A L S !

  38. The Final Cut, believe it or not. I know they’ve done better, but that was my first Floyd album and it holds a special place in my memory. Plus, I like the sound effects.

  46. I’ll go old school…Piper at the Gates. I like the Syd stuff best…and I know it’s blasphemous.

  47. The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn

  48. Atom Heart Mother

  49. Dark Side of the Moon. As cliche as that is, it’s the best album ever made.

  50. Piper At The Gates Of Dawn. I’m a sucker for Syd Barret and that album’s production.
