M83′s epic synth-fanfare double-album Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming leaked a few weeks back, and we already ran our Premature Evaluation of it, but the whole thing is now streaming online, so you can hear it legally and not worry about hurting Anthony Gonzalez’s feelings. Listen to the whole album at the Urban Outfitters website.
Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming is out 10/18 on Mute.

So did you stream it or not? I can’t tell through all that snark.
I don’t think people like that actually *listen* to music.
sorry i’ll save the snark for the lana del ray article. the album is fantastic btw.
how the hell does that deserve a downvote?
music’s too mainstream nowadays. So is hurting someone’s feelings. I’m just streaming this out of spite.
Is it working for all you guys? I think the server may be overloaded or something. I posted midnight city on my blog here: http://www.lowerfrequencies.com/2011/07/m83-midnight-city/ so if anyone wants to here that you can go there :)
Am I the only one still waiting for its physical release to actually LISTEN to this album?
I’ve still only heard “Intro” & “Midnight City”… I just have too much respect for M83.
I haven’t heard the leak, and I attempted listening to this stream but it never worked, so at this point I’ll be picking up my copy and listen to the actual physical thing first thing I do getting home
shit is nastier than a goldman sachs exec
Here’s my take:
“Synth giant M83 (aka Anthony Gonzalez) has released a strong contender for album of the year.”
