“Rigamortis” is one of the standout songs on young, verbose L.A. rapper Kendrick Lamar’s great Section.80 album. It’s a blistering double-time technical workout over a floating early-’90s-style jazz-rap horn loop. And now it has the video it deserves, in which Kendrick, backed by a drummer and a couple of horn players, runs his mouth in an art museum and on a New York street divider while dead bodies litter the ground. The ICU direct. Watch it below.

Section.80 is out now on Top Dawg Entertainment.

Weird choice to shoot a video for. Probably my least favorite song on Section.80. Great album though.
I really do think that Kendrick Lamar is the present and Future of Rap.. He is in good hands too.. Dr. Dre is working with a true artist with sick flows and an unparalled vocabulary.. I also wrote a piece about Kendrick Lamar on my blog.. check it out: http://www.aemind.com/kendrick-lamar-teaches-us-about-hard-work/
