The song title might be “Fly Trapped In A Jar,” but in this Saline Project-animated video for the R.E.M./National touring mates‘s We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank tune, Isaac Brock’s bumping into a white-striped Candy Land/Magic Rocks realm with a backup band that resemble skinnier, new wave Oompa Loompas. So, yeah, in a word: Creepy. Especially when the world shifts to blue and the dudes go blond.
It’s a shame they didn’t have this mind-fuck to talk about when Isaac and Johnny visited Tony Hawk.
