When we posted “Earthly Bodies,” we pointed you over to longtime solo artist (and most recently, Fleet Foxes drummer/vocalist/wisecracker) J. Tillman’s MySpace for a listen of this one; today it’s a free MP3. On the exculpatory “Though I Have Wronged You,” Tillman tries to sidestep blame by pulling out the stops, harnessing strings, handclaps, beauteous harmonies, even some gently blowing wind. Can’t be sure if he succeeds in his sorta-apology, but at least it inspired a marvelous little song.

  1. he is a wisecracker!…really funny at APW this year

  2. This album is amazing – truly shows his talents. For a guy with the back catalogue (and quality back catalogue) he has, why is he not a superstar? Maybe he should join a band or something…. ;-)
