This is a tough one, Achtung Baby is my absolute favorite album. I think I’d have to say “Acrobat” is my favorite, for its sheer inventiveness and difference from not only the rest of the album but pretty much all other U2 songs.

Favorite track is “Until the End of the World”. You can’t beat a song writting from the point of view of Judas. And the Edge’s guitars have never soared so greatly.

I love so many of this album that it’s hard to choose. I especially love Zoo Station, Even Better…, and Acrobat, but I will go with Until the End of the World as my favorite since it has so much going on and is both great on record and probably the best song they perform live. When that intro starts off, everyone in the audience loses their shit and it continues throughout until the mind boggling finale. As innovative as Nirvana may have been with Nevermind, second guessing Achtung, Baby for that reason is idiotic. They took music somewhere with that album and I think that No Line on the Horizon was on the right track from going back to something unique and creative and hopefully they can continue in that vein with subsequent musical releases.
