Deftones recently put out a vinyl box set containing the band’s six studio LPs (1995’s Adrenaline, 1997’s Around the Fur, 2000’s White Pony, 2003’s Deftones, 2006’s Saturday Night Wrist, and 2010’s Diamond Eyes) and 2011′s Record Store Day release Covers. We’re giving away one of these boxes, which have become increasingly tough to get. To enter, you need be a fan of Stereogum on Facebook and comment with your favorite Deftones album via Facebook Connect (do not use your ‘Gum user account on this post — we’ll have to be able to check if you are a fan of Stereogum on FB when the sweepstakes ends). US entrants only and the contest ends 11/30 at 12 PM EST. Only 1000 were made, and both official carriers — Deftones.com and Sound Matters — are sold out of their allotments.

Saturday Night Wrist is my favorite. I think it captures all of their various stylings in the best way from start to finish. White Pony was their arrival in new territory, and it was indeed fresh, I feel that SNW is when they set up a residence in there and settled into it. Just my thoughts.

Well it depends. If you wanna go out to skate(board) and shred it up, def Adrenaline. If you wanna do everything else, Around the Fur. Both albums hold their own still to this day, and are still better than a lot of what’s out there. As much as I hate to have to “pick a favorite” album, since each album has it’s own unique style and progression, I would have to say Around the Fur. I still think Damone is one of my favorite non-popular tones songs. Keep on keepin on deftones fam and fans- one love, prayers and love for chi and his fam as well<3 \m/

I love all the albums. When Adrenaline came out I was blown away.When Around the Fur came out I was blown away further. White Pony, OMG!!!!!! Self Tiltled!!!!! That was EPIC!!!! The B Sides album, !!! Dang!!!! I love it!! Satudaynite Wrist was amazing!! Dimonde Eyes, !! I can’t get enough. I can’t stop listing to all these albumbs. By far DEFTONES , are my favorite band period. What ever mood I am in , I can put any album on and get with it. Love it , Love it, Love it, Love it. !!! Nay I say more. DEFTONES FOR EVER.

I say all of them. They each hold a special place in the magical musical universe!! They are all fucking great in their own way and still as always hold that Deftones sound!!! I could put on any album and be perfectly content to whatever else is going on around me!!
