Florence & The Machine returned to SNL last night in what turned out to be a pretty decent episode of music-related content. Host Jason Segel sang with the Muppets in the monologue (Statler to Waldorf: “I hope Florence brought a time machine … so we can go back to before we heard that song!”). Later, Abby Elliott debuted a Zooey Deschanel impression during the Regis auditions sketch and Florence appeared during the infauxmercial for New Jack Thanksgiving, a collection of “the greatest turkey-themed rap fusion songs of all time.” Watch those clips, along with performances of F+TM’s “Shake It Out” and “No Light, No Light,” below. Paul Rudd had a small cameo too, but I’ll let Kelly Videogum post the Vogelchecks tomorrow.

A-dork-able.
Florence and her Machine don’t seem to do very well in a live setting, do they? or is it just a she? Wait, is this a band or just one person?
Huh, so she’s singing “What the hell” at the end of Shake It Out, isn’t she?
Weird.
