In their post-”Panic Switch” push, D’arcy faves Silversun Pickups become the house band for a musical chairs pro tourney set to Swoon rocker “Substitution.” There’s a judge and a trophy and everything, but more importantly, the competitors are high-heeled models with fierce game faces. I.e., they’re not here to make friends.

Swoon is out via Dangerbird.

    A pretty cool idea, but if they each took a chair over there at the start then how did they play the game? Seems like there would be one chair per girl…..or…..hm

    I love SSPU, but Swoon isn’t one of the best albums of the year. This track is the best, imo.

    Lastly, Nikki is still the hottest girl in this video.
