Memoryhouse comes out of the clouds a little bit on “The Kids Were Wrong,” a song that the Canuck dreampoppers just posted to their Sub Pop page. It’s from their forthcoming full-length, The Slideshow Effect. Not at all the flashiest first single I’ve ever come across, but it definitely establishes a new, albeit well-worn in general, path for the group. Grab the download, in exchange for an e-mail address, after the jump.
The Slideshow Effect is out 2/28 on Sub Pop. Their debut EP, The Years is out now and available at eMusic.

This is more indie rock than their previous atmospheric chillwave-ish sound. I personally prefer their older, dreamier sound.
why do people keep saying after the jump? what does it mean?
yeah, whats the jump? anyone?
hahahahaha
nevermind, figured it out and it’s stupid. wish people would stop using it.
